reflection
The idea of this reflection is to organize and show the processes difficulties obstacles and pleasures or the parts that were well done on the science fiction narrative. Comparing each with the traditional and the digital narrative.
So first in the traditional narrative I looked for ideas, started my brainstorming and found a conflict or a problem which was cloning. I had chosen this conflict because it can be reflected in science fiction and can connect in a better way with this way of writing. My story was developed at the future, in the same millennium. I like mystery and suspense stories, so I decided to write about two girls that had seen a girl with a red coat and one of them started to have awkward things in her daily life. The characters process was really easy to make because I had chosen to illustrate them in real people. I like to write about things that I imagine or I see. The story develops because the two girls see a red coat girl several times spying them. This girl I had saw it in my dreams, I see women with blond hair and a red coat but I can’t see her face. The end of my story was difficult and really hard to make because the story really don’t have a resolution it ends like most new sci-fi stories or movies do, suspended, because I would really want to make a sequel .
The digital technique was easer because the characters were created already, but the places and the way the story was developed was difficult to reflect. So I tried to imagine several places and tried to get comfortable with what I had, the characters all thought they where all ready created like making the illustrations was even harder because I had to accept it if I liked it or not. One thing that really was a help is that the world of my story was equal as right now as 2015 only with some things that where really needed but nothing that had made a big change.
This techniques had some similarities that where well done. One of those was the creativity that was used in both of the digital and traditional techniques also the effort and the patience I needed to have to let my imagination come, also the mystery is a similarity because the suspense and the mystery are shown both the same way. But as I said before the places from the digital technique where difficult to develop this part was making the errors where organized and like only edit. Some difficulties there were shown in the traditional technique where work as the dialogue, it was very difficult to develop because I really didn’t like to be redundant and say after a phrase the character said some thing as ´´he replied´ ´he said ´´,´´she answered´´, they made the story boring and redundant, but with the use of similes and descriptions I made those phrases better, as for example, ´´she said with a mysterious look in her big and brilliant eyes´´. By the other way it was really easy the part of the creativity, I love to imagine or develop stories. In the digital narrative the way the imagination was reflected couldn’t be reflected as I wanted but organizing all ideas wade it easier for finishing it.
Artist statmentBefore reading the poem you should know, that this poem describes perfectly how I feel and maybe you should feel identified with it. Had you ever felt like you aren't part of this society? As your thoughts and feelings are thrown to the sea or even worst, to the trash. We are in a world where our selves cant express, I cant be who really I am. This poem is explained in a metaphor, ´´ We are doves inside cages, we cant fly and we eat grouse move that our owner give us without independence.´´ I hope you feel identified, with the poem or even like it!

freedom, my one and only dream...Freedom, it is what
I've always dreamed of.
With a pen I write what I want in life. Some say they see me like a broken dove. Always thinking about how I would dive. See me and tell me flying won't free me. Although it seems like the way to be freed. I am still hopeful and very pleased, see? I wonder if I'll fulfill my good deeds. I'll be successful creating myself. Be free of society's ideals. And complete what has been on my goals shelf. I want a safe place with my ordeals. All before tearing myself to a shred. And becoming a million shades of red. |
What comes after dead.
I don't really know what comes after dead, because there are actually many theories about this, which one to believe? Well, I am not going to tell you that you need to believe in one in specific, but I am going to tell some theories that I have and that in all of my life experiences if learn.
Some theories say that, you go to heaven if yo really accepted God in your heart, and if you didn't then you are going to hell. I think this is one of the theories that convince me the most, I mean they talk about this in the bible. I don't fully believe in this one, I mean, I know that heaven and hell exists, and I know that God exists, but what about reincarnation! Oh yea there is the question, which one to believe? I believe in both, because they are both so logic, but which one actually happens, this is my question.
I am going to tell you what I think, and just for you to know, there is no evidence of this theory I am going to tell you, I think that, if you really believe in God and accept him in your heart then you go to heaven, I am not telling you that you need to stop going to parties, or drinking and stuff, but you can do it on excess. I don't know what to think about about reincarnation, I think it happens but not all of the times, maybe when you didn't accomplished your goals, then maybe reincarnation happens. Going to heaven or hell, and reincarnation are totally different things, but they come together in a way, they both talk about dead, and, either you are going to feel good or bad were you are. This is my theory, I believe that maybe both exist. But going to heaven or to hell is the one that I mostly believe in.
